Save Telegram messages to a Google Sheets spreadsheet

Every time a new message is posted to a specified Telegram chat/channel, Make (formerly Integromat) will automatically add that message to your Google Sheets spreadsheet as a new row. The template uses this example spreadsheet.

With this Make (formerly Integromat) scenario, every new message posted in a specified Telegram chat or channel will be automatically saved as a new row in a Google Sheets spreadsheet. This can be useful for tracking conversations, keeping a record of important information, or simply monitoring a chat for new activity.

Step by step instructions:

1. Create a new scenario from scratch.
2. Add a Telegram Watch module and set it up as follows:

Connection : You will be asked to log in and authorize Make (formerly Integromat) to access your Telegram account

: You will be asked to log in and authorize Make (formerly Integromat) to access your Telegram account Operation : Watch for new messages

: Watch for new messages Chat ID : Enter the Telegram chat/channel ID

: Enter the Telegram chat/channel ID Limit: Set a limit. If you want to retrieve more messages, you will need to add another Watch module.

1. Add a Google Sheets module and set it up as follows:

Connection : You will be asked to log in and authorize Make (formerly Integromat) to access your Google account

: Select the Append to spreadsheet operation Spreadsheet URL : Enter the URL of your spreadsheet. You can find the URL by opening the spreadsheet in Google Sheets, clicking the Share button in the top right corner, and copying the link from the pop-up window

: Enter the URL of your spreadsheet. You can find the URL by opening the spreadsheet in Google Sheets, clicking the Share button in the top right corner, and copying the link from the pop-up window Range : Enter the range of cells you want to append the data to

: Enter the range of cells you want to append the data to Map: Select the fields you want to append to the spreadsheet. If a field is not mapped, it will not appear in the spreadsheet.

1. Run the scenario.
